Principal’s Profile
Ms. Winnes Wong is a Certified Public
Accountant licensed in the State of California. She received her Bachelor
of Science degree in finance, with a minor in Economics from California State University of
Los Angeles where she later also obtained her Master of Business Administration.
Ms. Wong has over 20 years of both
public and private accounting experience. Her areas of emphasis include
certified audit, review and compilation of financial statements, general
business accounting, non-profit organizations; business and individual taxation.
She is a member of the California
Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has demonstrated professional
competence by attending annual tax updates, continuing education and workshops.
Her excellent work was periodically reviewed and evaluated by the State Board of
Accountancy previously, resulting in the highest permissible rating.
She was a board member of the
Design Review Board, City of Alhambra and she has also served as financial
advisor for several non-profit and charitable organizations (including Hong Kong
School Alumni Federation, Los Angeles Community Chest Inc., and South Pasadena
Lions Club). She was also invited as guest speaker for the Financial Management
Training Program for Chinese students at CSULA. She had hosted a
"First-time Homebuyer Credit" seminar in 2009, sponsored by East-West
Bank and Chinese World Journal. Her professional skills have
been instrumental in helping clients save every tax dollar as well
as starting up or expanding their business.
Being a foreign student and
immigrant from Hong Kong, Ms. Wong was very inspired by her CPA mentors who own
and run their practices. She loves her career and is committed to serve
her clients for many more years.
